Swavek Sienkiewicz was born in Poland, where he studied drawing and painting at the University of Slask.  In Canada, Swavek studied photography at the Sheridan College in Oakville.   Swavek Sienkiewicz is an digital artist and photographer. 

For many years, Swavek has worked in Toronto as a successful commercial photographer winning many awards for design and for photography. 

Sienkiewicz is exploring visual possibilities of the photographic medium.  In his work, he is interested in lens optical relations, where he creates with light  shapes, shadows and colors. Swavek prefers to photograph ordinary Images of nature such as one finds it in the meadows, forests and along the river banks.

Sienkiewicz uses Japanese aesthetic called  “Bokeh” which allows for subjective exploration of nature while defusing, softening or creating an out of focus images.  Pushing an analog photography beyond traditional limits Swavek explores possibilities of different techniques.  In the latest series of images

called “Bokeh Lights” traditional landscape turns into a multitude of reflected and passing through light. This process  produces unexpected and magical results.
